Tour to ABB
On September 11, you are welcome to join a study visit at ABB in Ludvika. ABB is one of the main supplier of both power and automation technology necessary for the renewable energy industry. ABB products and know-how are used across the energy chain, from power generation and power plant control to grid connections and transmission. ABB technologies, such as FACTS and HVDC, not only allow the connection of intermittent energy sources to the grid without stability problems but also make it possible to locate large off shore wind farms far from the coast. On this tour you will be given the opportunity to see some of the latest development necessary for large scale integration of renewable energy sources.
